5 Ways Out of mental and emotional exhaustion

Whats the outlook for mental and emotional exhaustion? 

Its important to look and deal with exhaustion as it can lead further into health problems. Stress will affect your immune system, your heart, metabolism and your overall mental well-being. High blood pressure, weight gain, insomnia, aging to name a few.

So what can you do to release and relax, and what are the ways out of mental and emotional exhaustion? 

Its important to make lifestyle changes to help alleviate symptoms. This might me hard in the beginning but it will get easier as you begin to form healthier habits. Small changes in your daily habits can help. 

1. Practice mindfulness 

Mindfulness is a term you probably hear a lot, but mindfulness techniques are much more than just a fad. They are scientifically recognized to reduce stress and anxiety and can be the key to ending your emotional slump.

Mindfulness is simply the act of engaging with the present moment. This can help direct your attention away from negative thinking. There are many ways to practice mindfulness. e.g:

Meditation, Yoga, Breathing exercises, Nature walks, journaling 

2. Exercise 

Physical activity raises endorphins and serotonin levels. This will improve your emotional state. It will also help you to take your mind off things ou think about a lot. Get 30 minutes of exercise in each day, and it can also just be a walk outside. No need to go hard in the gym. 

3. Eat healthy 

A balanced diet can change your world, especially if you are suffering from exhaustion. Eating high vibrational foods will help your energy levels. It also ensures you get the vitamins and minerals you need. Healthy food improves digestion, sleep, energy level and a lot more. Also the feeling of guilt after eating unhealthy food is gone. 

This means choosing a balanced diet which is rich in fruit, vegetable, whole grains and protein. Most important is to avoid sugary and processed foods. 

4. Take a break

We all need a break sometimes. It can be a vacation, a day off, an hour of self care daily. Every little but helps. 

5. Connect with a person you trust 

Its not about getting advice from someone. Simply having someone to open up to and talk about what's going on is very effective. Showing yourself vulnerable without being or having the fear of being judged is a beautiful help.
